Event History
Taylor’s Beefcake Cup is one of the two (2) new additions on the 2025 Tour Calendar. Mad props to the synthetic man for putting it all together and who has quickly risen to the rank of Assistant to the Commissioner with his enthusiasm and luster for the tour.

Quota (Modifed Stableford)
"It's not about who is the best player; it's about which player has their best day"
The Bonesaw Tour attracts players of a wide ranging skill set, and thus, the format is designed to allow for all players to be competitive. The scoring is quoata, or modified stableford for my dimpleheads. Here’s how it works.
- Each player will provide the BSGA with their handicap, or if they have an established average quota from tournament play
- Each player begins the round NEGATIVE their quota. If I’m a 25, that means I begin the round at -25
- The goal is to have the most points in relation to your quota
- Eagle = 8 points, Birdie = 4 points, Par = 2 points, Bogey = 1 point
Additionally, once players have achieved double bogey or worse, they are encouraged to pick up their ball for pace of play.
Example
Let’s say Player A has a quota of 25. Over the course of each round, he scores exactly 25 points. At the end of all 3 rounds his final score would be 0 in relation to his quota.
Let’s say Player B has a quota of 10, and scores 13 points each of his three rounds. His final score would be +3, and would finish ahead of Player B.
How Quotas Are Established
- Each player will provide the BSGA with their handicap.
- Your quota will be your handicap – 36, then an additional 10% is taken off
Example
10 handicap = 26 quota.
10% reduction = 23.4
ALWAYS ROUND DOWN
Quota = 23
The commissioner reserves the right to modify outlandish handicaps to protect the field and the integrity of The Tour.
BSGA Rules
The standard USGA rules will be in effect, with a few modifications for player enjoyment. Here are the key distinctions
1) OB doesn’t exist and it’s bullshit. If you go OB and you are in someone’s backyard you treat it like a red stake, with the exception that you can not play it out of the “hazard”. You may take a lateral drop, or drop anywhere along the line the extends from the pin and where you entered the hazard, no closer to the pin.
2) ZERO LIFT CLEAN AND PLACE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
3) There are ZERO gimmes allowed for points. It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 inch away, the ball must enter the cup for a point to be rewarded. Gimmes start at 6 inches, then a foot, then 3 feet, then all of a sudden we got dudes chopping off their dicks and putting on dresses. It’s a slippery slope I’m not willing to entertain.
